I mentioned my slip because it is my favorite. I made it with a remanent from Thai Silk in Los Altos.
Thai Silk is a very well known and established mail order fabric store with a retail store front right here in the bay area.Their selection of silks is extensive and well worth a visit. http://www.thaisilks.com/
If you go for a visit stop by GW (Goodwill) of Los Altos on Main street (2 blocks away) and expect higher than usual prices along with high quality clothing. There is a second hand store on the same side of Main a couple of doors down. I don't remember the name.
Also on Main: a great boutique, The Yum Yum tree, that sells artist-made clothing.165 Main Street, Los Altos, CA 94022
